Jesus4mayor is the most audacious and revolutionary campaign the city of Stoke on Trent has ever experienced. This radical initiative is designed to stir the church into revelation that our economics, politics, relationships, emotions, education, health and spiritual well being are not subject to a political persuasion but in Jesus Christ. Jesus4mayor is to highlight the reality of the New Testament which reveals Jesus to be a radical of His day and a non-conformist who challenged the church and state to love people for who they are and inspire them to become all that they can be.

As Christians, our moral dilemma is 'Who gets my vote?'.

New Testament teaches that Christians refused to recognise Caesar as king but declared that Jesus was King.

"'But who do you say I am?' Peter answered, 'You are the Christ'" [taken from synoptic gospels A.D. 50-70]

Christians in the city of Stoke on Trent, up until this campaign, have been the silent majority. Things are changing and the church is finding it's voice and beginning to stand tall.

Jesus4mayor is designed to challenge the Christian to redefine their faith from a world perspective based on receiving to a rediscovery of the revolutionary DNA that was found in the 1st century church.
